Probably one of my favourite things about my job(aside from the creatively working with people and recording their relationships) is that I get to be outside. Of course, most of my job is inside but on an almost weekly basis I get to photograph in some of the most scenic places in Southern Ontario. And the freshness of the air once Autumn hits…aah, it’s like my mind clears once the smoggy summer air clears too and I get refreshed with new ideas.
Engagement photos in the Fall months are a special thing. The air has a certain bite to it despite the sun that might be present which just makes you want to lean in a little closer to your darling, dearest; immersing yourself in that familiar, comforting warmth. The colour on the trees is unreal at times and when those leaves go, well, you’re left with this hauntingly beautiful, serene palate of nature that I always think is underrated. Yep, it’s a good thing! I’ve said I don’t have a favourite month or season but…for photos? November just might be my second favourite(after blossom season, of course!).
Anyways, please enjoy my selection of favourites from my fall engagement sessions. There could have easily been triple the amount of photos but I realize… most people have lives :D
ALSO!!! Merry Christmas everyone!
